Kaiserslautern, January 18, 2010 – hotel.info’s motto “Check & Book” now also applies when using your mobile. Netbiscuits, the leading software platform for the development and operation of mobile websites, has implemented a mobile portal for hotel.info, one of the leading worldwide online hotel reservation services. Users can now book a hotel in the desired location with their mobile phones via m.hotel.info. Furthermore, hotel.info’s best price option means the cheapest offer can be determined with a single click.
All content on the mobile hotel.info portal has been designed for use on the go. Once an appropriate list of hotels has been found, the room reservation can be completed conveniently using any mobile phone. The usual international classification with stars, as well as the assessment by hotel.info users, facilitates choosing the right hotel. Furthermore, mobile users can also use the portal to obtain information on hotel facilities and services, view photos and find the hotel using a map. The simplified search function allows users to search for specific hotels or hotels in specific price categories. The service from hotel.info will also be available as an iPhone application. This edition will include additional functions and have the special look & feel of these trendy mobile devices.
“Even on the move our customers can now also benefit from our Best Price guarantee”, explained Thomas Wawrzacz, project manager responsible for the mobile application at hotel.info. “We are looking forward to receiving mobile bookings, especially from our business customers. Now the time really has come for mobile commerce.”
“We are glad to have been able to win another important customer from the travel sector, hotel.info”, explained Ran Farmer, Managing Director of Netbiscuits Inc. “This sector will be one of the most important growth markets for mobile services in 2010".
